anyone remember them? hahaha i'm sure meron akong kilala mga 3 or 4 people na nakakaalala.. hahahah shonen knife.. i know they sang that one powerpuff song.. ung kay buttercup.. pero before that, they had hits in the philippines.. BANANA CHIPS! remember that? ung video nya nakakatuwa, ung mga cartoon tapos naghahanap ng banana chips tapos merong butcher knife, tps nasa islands sila.. remember..? it had that super catchy chorus.. banana chips.. banana chips.. banana chips.. oh yeah! remember..? remember...?! they had a second single too.. which i only remembered nun hinanap ko ung shonen knife na lyrics.. daydream believer.. it's driving me crazy coz i only remember that ONE line.. daydream believer.. hahaha remember?! sigh..

the point of this is.. ksi sa english class today, we were asked to look at this one song by them, public bath, but we weren't told kng ano ba sya.. basta ung lyrics lang nakaproject sa board. then we were asked to interpret like, cno kya ung author, kng song ba or poem ba or what.. things like that.. hahah it has super weird lyrics, i urge you to look for them yourself.. shonen knife - public bath. funny sya.. so when i saw the repeating lines, isip ko na agad na song sya, then it was about public baths! so isip ko agad na japanese sya.. tapos weird lyrics pa! so obvious na jap! hahahah ayun.. the teacher loves shonen knife by the way.. kya nya ginamit ung example.. hahaha tinugtog pa nga nya sa class ung song eh! grabe.. shonen knife tlga.. hahahhahahaah made me think of banana chips!!! waaaah!! and the song that he played.. public bath.. super catchy.. waaaah.. it will get stuck in your head! i like public bath i like public bath i like public bath... whahahaha so un..

trivial pursuit rocks!

as you can guess by the title.. trivial pursuit ROCKS! ahahaha

so kwento:

at the cabin.. (rosie's family cabin) rosie and i were bored. so.. laro daw kmi board game.. so i saw that they had old school trivial pursuit so sabi ko, laro tayo! and she said na never pa raw nya nalaro ang trivial pursuit EVER.. so nashock ako shempre so sbi ko laro na game. so laro nga kmi.. kming dalawa lang.. and she LOVED it! hahaha kahit na ung version na linaro namin ay ung super luma na GENUS I na super hirap ang mga question.. she won that game btw.. hehehe

and so.. back in the dorms.. one of us suggested that we get our OWN trivial pursuit.. i think it was me.. :D so un.. i got SUPER excited.. i was all like looking online.. coz i knew we didn't want a super expensive one.. so i thought, oh, EBAY! soo we looked on ebay.. found a trivial pursuit Genus IV edition starting at.. 3 dollars! hahah so shempre we got that.. but then there was already a highest bid of 8 dollars.. sooo tinapat namin with 10.. that was like, an hour left before the bids closed. then.. in the last 3 minutes, some jerk bid 11 dollars! GRR! so shempre, tapat ulit coz, seriously, 11 dollars for an almost new trivial pursuit is still pretty sweet.. so we got it for 11.50! :D yay.. plus 7 dollars shipping but who cares.. haha still pretty cheap!

so we got the package today! :D yay! and i just played with simon with it.. hahah 'twas a pretty close game.. he got all 6 pieces before i did.. but he struggled getting to the center hub coz i kept giving him sports questions ahhaha by then, i only had like 3 pieces.. but then i bounced back, got the remaining 3 pieces i needed.. hahahhaha and then we were tied.. aaaand with the answer "don king", i won! :D yaaaaaay!! :D heheheh but i have to give simon props tho.. he was reeeeeeally good at those history and geography questions.. which i hated.. hehehehe

pasensya na at d ako nakakapagupdate.. marami akong kwento.. pero tamad lang akong magsulat.. promise ang dami dami na nangyari pero tlga.. merong naghhold back sa akin sa pagsulat and i think katamaran lang or lack of inspiration.. whahahaha pero yeah marami nga.. sulat ko lang now kng anu-ano nga tong mga tong ikkwento ko para at least maalala ko for next time..
